Intergroup Service Committee Opportunities
Remember: Anyone can join our service committees; you do not need to be an Intergroup Rep to participate.
- The Communications Committee
provides a wide-range of communications support to Intergroup, including The Point and The Buzz. To get involved, contact communications@aasfmarin.org to join and attend the next meeting on July 22nd at 5pm, online. and, check out the current edition of The Point here.
- San Francisco Public Relations
To get involved, contact sfpr@aasfmarin.org and join the next committee meeting on July 14th at 7:00pm.
- The Teleservice Committee
answers the helpline 24-hours a day for the still-suffering alcoholic. The committee is looking to fill the following roles: Vice Chair, Recording Secretary and Special Events Coordinator. To get involved, contact teleservice@aasfmarin.org and join the next committee meeting on July 21st.
Orientation is at 6pm followed by the business meeting at 6:45pm.
- Intergroup Fellowship Committee
If you would like to get involved and be of service the next committee meeting is on June 24th at 5pm, contact fellowship@aasfmarin.org.
- SF Bridging the Gap Committee
is a 12th Step Service Committee. We help alcoholics who are released from either a hospital or institution to get to their first outside A.A. meetings. The next Orientation is on July 9th at 6:00pm followed by the business meeting at 6:15pm.

- Outreach Committee
works to attract more IGRs to Intergroup. With meeting committments turning over, encourage meetings to elect new Intergroup Representatives. To get involved at the committee level, contact outreach@aasfmarin.org and join the next meeting on August 6th at 6pm.
- Sign up
to become a Grateful Giver by contributing to San Francisco and Marin Intergroup on a monthly basis. Or, if you are already a Grateful Giver, please consider upping your monthly contribution to support Intergroup's 12th Step work. These recurring contributions are a consistent source of revenue Intergroup relies on.
- Central Office Volunteers
needed (especially for afternoon shifts) to answer the phone lines, greet customers, and assist with special projects. Minimum of 1 year sobriety. For more information about a weekly 2-hour shift opportunity, please eMail aa@aasfmarin.org
- The Point
is always looking for writers to contribute stories of experience, strength and hope.
